ASPPH is collaborating with partners to present a virtual, multi-day workshop “2021 TEACH GLOBAL HEALTH: Summer Institute for Curriculum & Course Design” in June 2021. Geared toward faculty, staff, and administrators at undergraduate-serving institutions, the workshop offers attendees skill-building in curriculum development, refinement, and evaluation along with networking and collaboration sessions with peers. The program runs over two consecutive Thursday-Friday sessions in June (June 17-18 and June 24-25, 2021, from 11:00 AM-2:30 PM ET each day).
Participants are invited to bring an idea or an educational program already underway (a course design or revision, curricular design, self-study, assessment, experiential program migrating to a virtual platform, etc.) for further development. Attendees will gain tools to assess and strengthen their institution’s undergraduate curricular programming in global health, improve student learning and community partnerships, and enjoy engaging with fellow educators from a variety of disciplines and institutions and exploring collaborations with them both at the course and curricular level.
Workshop fees are $350 by February 15, $400 by March 15, and $450 after March 15. The deadline for registering is May 1. More information is available on the Teach Global Health website and/or see the event flyer.Tags: Publish on January 15
