Dr. Daniel O. Wyman was recently named chief medical officer of PruittHealth in Georgia. Wyman earned an MPH at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health’s San Antonio Regional Campus; a bachelor’s degree from the Air Force Academy and an MD from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. He completed a medical residency in family practice at the David Grant USAF Medical Center, Travis AFB, CA.
Dr. Wyman has more than 20 years of health care experience and leadership, according to a PruittHealth news release. Before joining PruittHealth, Dr. Wyman served as the air combat command chief medical officer and command surgeon in the United States Air Force. In his new role of chief medical officer with PruittHealth, Dr. Wyman will support the delivery of quality care to a network of 170 provider locations with 24,000 patients.
