Texas A&M Doctoral Student Received Top Student Research Honors at AAHB

Doctoral student Ms. Shinduk Lee of the Texas A&M Health Science Center School of Public Health received the student research award at the recent 2016 American Academy of Health Behavior (AAHB) meeting. Her research poster “Association between Diabetes Self-Management with Social Support at Different Disease Durations” received the top student award at the conference held Feruary 21-24 in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.

Lee Fridey Letter

This is the second time Ms. Lee’s research has received a national award. Ms. Lee’s research on “Recruitment of Community-dwelling Older Adults into Fall-Prevention Programs in Community Settings” was highlighted as one of 19 research posters nationwide this past November at the American Public Health Association (APHA) Delta Omega competition.
