Public health doctoral student Dr. Mahbub Hossain of the Texas A&M School of Public Health, was selected to present his research on health data safety in the United States this week at the at the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Symposium in Washington, DC. As an AMIA Leadership and Education Awardee (LEAD), he was awarded funding to help pay travel expenses to the conference to present his medical informatics research. He was recognized as an award recipient at the AMIA 2019 Annual Symposium Awards Gala at the National Press Club.
