Master of Health Administration (MHA) students from the Texas A&M School of Public Health placed first in the third Annual Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) Gulf Coast Chapter Case Competition. They were awarded $1,000 at a reception held on November 5 in Houston.
Along with Texas A&M, participating teams came graduate management programs at Rice University, Texas Woman’s University, and the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Teams were judged on their presentation and analytic skills with a particular focus on the viability of their proposed strategies for business development, financials, and operations.
