Texas A&M: Undergraduate Public Health Students Competitively Selected as Washington, DC Interns

Four Bachelor of Science in Public Health students from the Texas A&M School of Public Health were competitively selected for internships in Washington, DC this summer. Ms. Emma Watson is at the National Academy of State Health Policy; Ms. Hannah Murrow is working for the American Public Human Services Association; Ms. Juliana Berlanga is at the Green & Healthy Homes Initiative; and Mr. Mustafa Ahmad is at the Global Cold Chair Alliance.

Ms. Watson was chosen as this year’s Texas A&M University Commencement Speaker and was part of the School of Public Health honor’s program, the Broad Street Honor Society. Ms. Murrow hopes to eventually be a policy analyst, a passion fueled by the opportunity of helping in the Health Policy and Management Department with legal data entry and research. After this summer’s internship, recent graduate Ms. Juliana Berlanga will complete a year of service with AmeriCorps. Mr. Ahmad is part of the of Broad Street Honor Society and also the Texas A&M Honors program.
