The 3-D Commission is hosting an event titled “The Data Pandemic: Making decisions with too much, not enough, and politicized data.” The event will be held on Monday, September 21st, 8:00-9:30 AM ET on the occasion of the 75th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The session will explore how decision-makers can use data to make tough choices during health crises, in an effort to keep people safe and healthy.
The 3-D Commission is an ambitious initiative that combines the insights of social determinants and the power of data to inform decisions that affect the health of populations. Funded by The Rockefeller Foundation and driven by the Boston University School of Public Health, the 3-D Commission aims to improve health not just by examining the social and economic levers that influence outcomes, but also by engaging policymakers to integrate data and social determinants into their decision-making.
