ASPPH would like to thank Mr. Michael Gonzalez, the This is Public Health (TIPH) Ambassador from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Joseph J. Zilber School of Public Health, for taking over our social media this week. Mr. Gonzalez is currently an MPH student concentrating on environmental health sciences. Throughout the week he has been highlighting Cervical Health Awareness Month, Folic Acid Awareness Week, and sharing examples of developmental toxicology.
Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Mr. Gonzalez completed his BS in microbiology and minor in chemistry at UW-Milwaukee, in 2016. He’s also a first-generation student currently working in a clinical laboratory conducting molecular assay testing for heart transplant patients and has served as a peer recruiter at Zilber School of Public Health. Recently, he completed a field experience/internship at Community Advocates, the City of Milwaukee Tobacco-Free Alliance.
Follow along throughout the year on all our social media platforms to witness the incredible work our TIPH Ambassadors are sharing.Tags: Friday Letter Submission, Publish on January 10
