The Association of American Colleges and Universities (AAC&U) and its Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) invite proposal submissions for “late-breaking” developments in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) higher education reform. A “late-breaking” proposal contains data, results, and/or outcomes that were not yet known, or fully available, for the original proposal deadline.
The 2019 AAC&U Transforming STEM Higher Education Network Conference will be held November 7–9 in Chicago, Illinois. AAC&U encourages the submission of “late-breaking” proposals that examine the range of opportunities for — and challenges to — STEM higher education, including approaches to conducting STEM education research, teaching, broadening participation, and developing assessment tools. Through this conference, we aim to advance an undergraduate STEM education reform agenda that drives innovation, discovery, and social change.

Join us in Chicago to chart a daring path for STEM higher education reform that is paved with social consciousness, critical reflection, introspection, and disciplinary boundary crossing. Please review the conference overview and call for proposals for detailed instructions.
