Tree Planting, Walking Competition Part of Louisville NPHW Activities

University of Louisville School of Public Health and Information Sciences students, faculty, and staff continue the celebration of National Public Health Week on Saturday, April 12. Volunteers will plant trees at schools in West Louisville as a part of the neighborhood-based urban restoration program, Love Louisville Trees. The School is continuing a walking competition through April 14. The Student Government Association passed out 60+ pedometers to faculty, staff, and students to promote exercise as part of National Public Health Week. A faculty and staff winner will be announced next week.
