UC Irvine Professor Receives Kehoe Award for Excellence in Occupational and Environmental Medicine

Dr. Dean Baker, professor of medicine, epidemiology, and public health and director of the Center for Occupational and Environmental Health at the University of California, Irvine Program of Public Health, received the Kehoe Award for Excellence in Education or Research in Occupational and Environmental Medicine from the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine (ACOEM). The Kehoe award is a lifetime achievement award presented annually at the American Occupational Health Conference. Dr. Baker is an ACOEM Fellow who has provided leadership in occupational medicine training and in occupational and environmental epidemiology research and training. He is a former president of the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology.
