UC Schools Team Up With Community Organization to Publish Data on Integrated STI Screening

University of California Irvine Program in Public health and UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine collaborated with the South Beach AIDS Project (SoBAP) to describe the prevalence of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) at the community based organization (CBO) in an article titled “Integration of Screening for Syphilis, Hepatitis C, and other Sexually Transmitted Infections with HIV Testing in a Community-Based HIV Prevention Program in Miami, Florida”. The article was published ahead of print in LGBT Health, and is the first description of an integrated community-based screening program in Miami, FL.
