The University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) School of Public Health is looking for applicants for its MidAmerica Regional Public Health Leadership Institute (MARPHLI). MARPHLI is a year-long fellowship program for public health professionals who are committed to building and improving their leadership skills. MARPHLI fellows are exposed to a blended learning approach, which emphasizes personal, organizational, and community development. The program consists of three on-site retreats with national speakers, webinars, and action-based learning projects.
Applicants should have at least three years of experience in public health and should fill a leadership position at one of the following: state or local public health agency, local board of health, county board, state legislature, managed care organization, community health center, hospital, or non-profit agency.
