On May 15th, the ASPPH Career Services Assembly (CSA) hosted a Virtual Career Fair in response to critical hiring needs due to COVID-19 and the inability to host on-campus fairs. The Virtual Career Fair connected 53 employers with over 1,000 students. This event was a success thanks to our dedicated planning committee members Jessica Newcomb, Heather Krasna, Kelly Gentry, Brit Saksvig, and Henryne Tobias.
Ms. Newcomb shared her enthusiasm about the event by stating that “the CSA members are passionate about uniting the public health workforce and connecting students with potential employers and diverse employment opportunities. This event is the first of its kind for the Career Services Assembly, and the members were critical to the success of the event.”
We look forward to hosting another fair next May and look forward to sharing more Career Service opportunities with our members and their students in the year to come.
