Ms. Jeani Hunt-Gibbon, a master’s student in the Nutritional Sciences Program at the University of Washington School of Public Health, has been named Outstanding Student in Women’s Health for 2019 by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Women’s Health dietetic practice group.
Ms. Hunt-Gibbon is part of the School’s Graduate Coordinated Program in Dietetics. The award recognizes her capstone project to produce a lecture on nutrition and fertility. She partnered with the dietetic practice group to promote the online lecture on this emerging women’s health topic, a focus area where few resources exist for dietitians.
She will accept the award at the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo in Philadelphia in October.Friday Letter Submission, Publish on August 30
