Washington Study Finds Two Pesticides Linked to Reproductive Disease

Two organochloride pesticides were associated with an increased risk of endometriosis, an often painful condition in which tissues normally lining the inside of the uterus grow outside of it, according to a new study. The research was led by Dr. Kristen Upson, then a PhD student in epidemiology at the University of Washington School of Public Health and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
