The Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis and its student group, Advocacy and Learning for Public Health Action (ALPHA) is offering a variety of programs and events to mark National Public Health Week. They include:
- Livestreaming of the keynote address from U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams.
- This is Public Health – Members of ALPHA gather at the Clark-Fox Forum to discuss the important role public health plays in protecting lives and well-being.
- MPH Program Dean’s Forum – Dr. Lora Iannotti, associate dean for public health and Dr. Angela Hobson, assistant dean for public health, lead a forum to provide an opportunity for networking and discussion on issues and opportunities for students in the MPH program.
- Public Health Seminar Final Project Showcase – This event highlights students’ public health video and photo essay projects from the Public Health Seminar. Selected students present their projects and share what inspired and helped them to succeed.
